More than 4’700 Swiss companies already rely on Mobility. One of these is Zürcher Kantonalbank (Zurich Cantonal Bank), which now has six Mobility electric cars on the road.
More and more companies are looking to use carsharing not just to save money and time, but also to do their bit for the environment. Zürcher Kantonalbank, for example, has set itself the target of significantly reducing its CO2 emissions by 2022. "Sustainability is very important to us, including in terms of mobility," explains Bich N. Phan, officer for the performance mandate. The company is therefore offering its employees public transport and Mobility subscriptions, for one thing. "We are also completely converting our company’s Mobility fleet to electric vehicles. This saves around 20 tonnes of CO2 a year," Phan says, excitedly. Zürcher Kantonalbank is also toying with the idea of placing additional electric cars at more of its locations – and making them available to all Mobility customers outside of business hours.
"The dense Mobility station network allows us to combine different types of mobility."

Fewer costs, more time
Around 350 employees travel around for work with their Mobility Business subscriptions, either to visit clients or value properties. For visits to remote places, they use one of the six electric cars, which are only available at two main stations in Zurich. However, they use public transport for well-connected routes – and only use the shared car for the last few miles. For Bich N. Phan, it is exactly this interplay that serves as the key benefit: "The dense Mobility station network allows us to combine different types of mobility. This saves a lot of time and money. And what’s more, our employees appreciate the service."
Carsharing is booming among companies
Today, an impressive 4’750 companies around Switzerland ranging from small to large rely on Mobility – an increase of 900 within the last five years. There are various ways of using carsharing: as a supplement to your own vehicle fleet, as a replacement for your company’s fleet or as an alternative to employees’ private cars.
