[Translate to English:] Innenreinigung eines Mobility Autos

Who actually ...

... cleans the Mobility cars?

245’000 customers share the Mobility cars. On average, one car is used by nine people per week. When something gets used that much, there’s bound to be some wear and tear of course. Our mobile fleet care staff are in action every day to ensure that the vehicles stay on the road for as long as possible and that the cars are always clean when you come to use them.

Here we introduce you to one of them in person. Take a look for yourself.

Armando Esposito is cleaning nearly a 100 cars in Zurich inside and outside.

What condition would you like to find your Mobility car in when you come to use it?

Before you return the car, always take a look at it and ask yourself if you’d be happy to find the car that condition. Have you gathered up all your stuff and taken out your rubbish? Have you transported something that has left marks you ought to remove? Or have you been on a walk in the woods and the car looks as if you’ve been rally racing – so a quick wash would be in order?

Our employee drives the Car-Sharing car through the car wash.

What should I do if I’ve left something in the car?

You can reserve the vehicle and collect the item yourself as quickly as possible. We will find the item for you: On the customer portal, select the relevant reservation in the «Reservations» section and click on «Give feedback». You can then click on «Search request (CHF 50)» and enter what you have lost.

We will search the item and if we find it, send it to you. The shipping costs will be invoiced to you. The search request costs CHF 50 regardless of whether the item is found or not. Please note that we only check the vehicle used and do not ask any other customers about the lost item.

Our employee thoroughly vacuums the trunk of a car sharing car.

I have found an item in the vehicle, what to do?

Please leave items in the glove compartment – bigger items in the trunk of the vehicle, our staff will take care of the rest. You do not have to contact us. If you have taken the item with you, we ask you to return it to the vehicle.

In case that the item found is valuable, please call our 24 Service Center on 0848 824 812 for further assistance.

What should I do if I spill something?

Murphyʼs Law – it happens to the best of us. Try to clean it yourself as best you can. If you can’t restore the car to the state you’d like to find it in, please inform our 24-hour Service Center on 0848 824 812 so we can have the vehicle cleaned professionally and organise a replacement.

How can I prevent the inside from getting dirty?

Better safe than sorry!

  1. When transporting something, always put something like a blanket or sheet underneath it to protect the inside of the car.
  2. Especially when transporting dogs, cats and other pets in a Mobility car, always be sure to use some sort of protective layer underneath and also an animal box.
  3. The same applies when transporting bicycles, potting compost, wood and the like.

What can I use to protect the inside of the car?

Use your own blanket or plastic sheet or simply newspaper, as you can see in the video of our visit to the garden centre. (read more)
