  • Future

Together with you as a customer, Mobility is committed to protecting the environment. As of last September, you now have the option offset the CO2 emissions generated by car sharing trips – for just a few centimes per kilometre. The highlight: Mobility doubles your contribution. Together, we create a powerful environmental fund which is distributed in cooperation with the climate foundation myclimate. The only question that remains is: who does the money go to? You decide.

Renaturation of raised bogs

Peatlands sequester carbon and are also vital zones for biodiversity. As water-rich ecosystems, they provide habitats for rare or endangered animal and plant species. You can find more information about the project here.

Woodchips rather than fossil fuels

The woodchip-fired heating plant in Losone (TI) feeds a network that supplies schools, industrial companies and hotels with heat from renewable energy. It is powered by local biomass and replaces fossil-based heating systems. You can find more information about the project here.

Construction of biogas plants

Renewable electricity and heat are produced through the construction and operation of two agricultural biogas plants (cantons of Aargau and Lucerne). Manure, slurry and organic waste are used for this, purpose, thereby avoiding methane emissions at the same time. You can find more information about the project here.
